4. Spider Webs
You will need:
- Icy Pole Sticks/Popsickle Sticks
- Wool/Yarn
- Scissors
- Glue
- Paint
- Paint brushes
- Optional: Fake spiders
Once the kids have finished their icy-poles, dry them off and glue three icy-pole sticks together in a star-like fashion. Once dried, you can paint your sticks or you can jump start onto decorating! Cut a long piece of wool & tie to one end of a stick and start wrapping over and under each stick until it starts to form a web.
Once it looks a bit like a web, tie the other end to a stick so that everything is secure! If you have a fake spider on hand, or even a sticker spider – stick them on and your DIY spider web is finished!

9. Hand Print Spiders
You will need:
- Some little hands
- Black Paint
- Googly Eyes
- White Marker/Crayon/Pencil
- Glue
- Paint Brush
Using your white writing tool of choice, draw a spider web in the corner of your page. Once your web is complete, ignoring your little one's thumb, paint the little hands in black paint. Carefully place your mini's hand on the paper where it is partially covering the web.
Repeat this step and overlap part of the palm for the other set of spiders legs. Once the handprints are dry, glue on some googly eyes for your spider – as many as your kids see fit! You can also add a little smiley face if you wish! And there you have it, a little hand printed spider!
