Australia's not your average country: we've got creepy things that crawl (ahhh! spiders!) and big things that fall (ahhh! drop bears!) and on any quality childhood holiday, you'll come across one, both or a wide variety of the things in between. In Australia, that's just the way it's gonna be (little darlin')...

But for every allegedly deadly thing down under, there's twice as much magic (maybe even more). Think warm summer nights, hot summer storms, and cool summer swims, off to see The Big Things, wondering... are we there yet?

In the spirit of the Great Australian Roadtrip, we're celebrating the launch of our Spring Summer Collection with a roundup of amazing things to see and do across Australia.

Pack the kids in the car and get ready to roll, here's the places we'll be visiting this summer!

Visit Gumbuya World in Tynong VIC

When we say Gumbuya World has got it all – we really mean it! Located 50 minutes drive from Melbourne's CBD, Gumbuya World is where rides, slides and wildlife collide!

Hot day? Explore the water rides at the Oasis Springs. Looking for thrills? Visit Oz Adventure to experience the wild extremes of rollercoasters! Taking some younger kids out for the day? No worries – Outback Explorers is packed with fun for the littlest ones! Or maybe you're more of an outdoor adventurer? You'll find everything you love in the Wildlife Trail!

Visit Enchanted Adventure in Arthurs Seat, VIC

Located in the stunning hinterland of Arthurs Seat, Morning Peninsula, Enchanted Adventure is as magical as it sounds. You'll find a huge range of family friendly outdoor activities here, perfect for a Hot Goldie Summer. Experience stunning themed gardens and winding hedge mazes – and thrills such as tube sliding and canopy walking. There's truly something here for everyone in the family!

Visit Symbio Wildlife Park in Helensburgh, NSW

A family owned and operated wildlife park located on the outskirts of Sydney, Symbio Wildlife Park sits on acres and acres of gorgeous gardens – which are also home to all your favourite Australian animals!

Of course at Symbio, you can cuddle a koala or feed a kangaroo – both are practically an Australian rite of passage! – but they'll also do you one better and let you go behind the scenes for the day!

The smallest family members will also be glad to know that they can cuddle with the farmyard animals for the perfect afternoon filled with furry and feathered friends.

Visit Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary in Byron Bay, NSW

Open to the public 7 days a week, Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary is a truly wholesome hinterland family experience. Chat with the keepers, watch the free-flight bird presentation, or try an up-close and personal experience with the wildlife – they've got everything at Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, from reptiles to sugar gliders, owls and koalas – so you'll be sure to find a favourite fauna among the gum trees here!

And now for somewhere completely different...

Visit Gold Coast Aqua Park on the Gold Coast, QLD

When we think of the Gold Coast, we think of the stretches of beautiful beaches... but then imagine an epic, inflatable obstacle course appeared on one! Talk about surprise and delight alright.

If that got you excited then you'll be glad to know you don't need to imagine it anymore – you can just pop right over to GC Aqua Park to experience the thrills and (splashy) spills. Perfect for kids over 5, the Aqua Park is a wonderful warm weather activity – and for those under 5, head over to Fun City, their floating jumping castle. Honestly this place sounds like every kids dream!

Now it's time for a hop skip (and another hop skip and another hop skip) away over to the other coastline...

Wanneroo Botanic Gardens in Wanneroo, WA

There's wildlife zoos and kangaroos, and then there's Wanneroo (Botanic Gardens)! An iconic garden located in Perth's northern suburbs, Wanneroo Botanic Gardens will surprise and delight the senses. Walk among the trees, flower displays, rockeries and waterfalls, and find a fantastic Mini-Golf course nestled amongst it all.

As Australia's largest Mini-Golf complex, Wanneroo Botanic Gardens features a 36 hole course where you and the kids can play Mini-Golf by day... and Glow Golf by night!

From cuddling koala's to feeding kangaroos, riding the rollercoasters and splashing in the sun – Australia and it's cities have really got it all.

This is the Australia we know and love.
